3pm Weather Update - Winter Weather Advisory

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of central Indiana.  The advisory is in effect from 1pm ET Thursday through 10am ET Friday (purple colored counties).

The National Weather Service is calling for 1" to 3" in the advisory area.  I am leaning more towards up to 1.5" for Indianapolis.  A little bit more for the north side of Indianapolis.  The big question with snow totals is whether or not the storm sucks up dry air which creates a "dry slot".  If that happens, it will dramatically drop the snow totals.
